Well, lest I get too comfortable or confident there is always
a critic to sit atop my artwork and offer his personal opinion.
LOL! This is an old piece in alabaster that sits in my front yard. It's getting pretty sugary now. I can't believe all the hours I spent wet sanding a perfectly smooth shine on this at one time.
This is titled "If wishes were horses..." I don't know the name of the critic.
a ... camon ! i think he likes the work... likes so much that feels safier "living with" it :)
ReplyDeletei liked this work , and liked the title too .
Squirrelly!
ReplyDeleteThat's a terrific piece! I think the squirrel loves it!! It wants to live on it!!
ReplyDeleteDo you have an image of this—sans squirrel? From what I can see: the hands looks intense.
ReplyDeleteHi Caio, you are a "glass half full" kind of guy! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteStan, LOL! True enough!
Manon, always nice to see your lovely face. Thanks, everyone should be happy to have a sguirl living on their head I guess. LOL!
David, I do have a photo of the sulpture sans squirl but it is in it's present condition. I should try to find an original photo all nice and polished to perfection. Alabaster doesn't hold up well outdoors as marble or granite would. However it is a little easier to carve. I will post it.
