This is the latest version of the little canvas from a few days ago. I think last you saw it sort of plaid looking. I may still want to soften some areas. The lower right corner is standing out a little too much maybe. I'll let it stew a while and take another look.

This is quite wonderful. I wonder what you will be inspired to do next. Love how things can unfold, if you finished it today it would look one way. If you finished it another day... It will be a different painting.

I took some great photos on our hike into the mesa trail today of close ups of the rocks and lichen etc. I loved the colors and patterns so maybe that will inspire me to something new. I'm still just having fun reacting to what I put down on the paper and painting over that so far though.
