Some inspiration

The small man spends all day making cages for everyone he knows while the wise man, who must duck his head when the moon is low, spends all night dropping keys to free the beautiful rowdy prisoners.

I found this wonderful little tidbit on a great blog I just discovered www.jeane-artit.blogspot.com. This saying uplifted me from something I'm going through right now. Her work is wonderful as well! Check it out.

hello - I just wanted to pay a visit when I found your comment on my blog - I'm so glad you like the quote about the wise man - a dear friend gave it to me during a very hard time - that's a photo of the moon coming up over our woods in the back - I've really enjoyed cruising your blog - you're a wonderful painter :)

Hi Tonya,
Thank you for your lovely messages.;)
No need to apologise about not replying to me straight away... Sometimes it is difficult to keep up with leaving comments. Life and time does tend to take over. I can't believe it is nearly Christmas!:(
I think your paintings have a magical and a light quality. There must be fairy energy in your work, for sure...Thank you for your very kind words. I don't know if I have made the right choice illustrating fairy folk and little creatures. I really miss oil painting on canvasses...
It is lovely to meet you and thanks for following!
See you again very soon.;)

P.S.
I like this quote too about the wise man and the moon photo looks very haunting!
