This is what's on my drawing table and easel.
The top is a water media beginning drawing on "Yes" watercolor canvas (love these canvases!) 24"X39"
Next is a watercolor and gouache on my favorite bristol plate paper. 21"X 11".
Last an abstract beginning in acrylic and mixed media on Bristol Plate paper. 22"X 28".
Hey Tonya.... Happy New Year!!
ReplyDeleteYou're a busy girl!! Can't wait to see all the finished pieces!!
Hey there Manon! I was just thinking about you! I got your beautiful Christmas card when I got back to Colorado, so lovely! (all our mail is forwarded) I brought back the paper heart pins from Texas and will get them in the mail to you tomorrow. Happy New Year to you too! I will be so happy to be consolidated back in my home studio.
ReplyDeleteI love having works in progress so I don't have to figure out what to do when I get up in the morning!
Wow! You are a busy one! I will look forward to see what you do with the abstract. Do you plan to draw onto it like you have done in others with the dark pencil or paint? I like that look!

Hi Tonya, I found you through Mike Bailey's blog. I just had to see what you're doing with abstracts. They're wonderful and I look forward to seeing more!
ReplyDeleteHi Rosalie, thanks for stopping by! I do plan to draw into it but I never really know to what extent. I'm glad you like the effect. I love your new drawings!
ReplyDeleteHi Peggy, Welcome! I was so surprised and delighted for Mike Bailey to make such a complimentary statement about my abstracts on his comments! Thanks so much for the nice compliment. I look forward to seeing you around.
