I REALLY like the one with the crows. I like that you used the crow from the first monotype as a model for sketching in the four on this one. It creates a nice tie-in between the two pieces. BTW, I see you found another good crow shot for this one...
Don, Thanks so much! I really like this one too. It does not go un noticed that you took in all the details about the crows. What a guy, or is that just an artist thing? LOL!
Stan, Actually don't worry about the exactness of the color as the paper was white on both... the same exact Arches 88. Just makes you wonder how your paintings show up on other people's monitors.
Hi Liv! Thanks! Thanks for visiting my blog! I love your blog and work. I hope all will visit.
Very easy to fix the discrepancy in Photoshop...but maybe a good test of killer art is that it looks good in any shade. Bach sounds good at any tempo, and even on a kazoo.
Hi Nick, is there anywhere on the net that I could listen to Bach being preformed on a Kazoo? I will have to google that. Thanks for stopping by. Can't wait to see the results of your selections for the Beijing show.
Thanks Donna! It was a really fun thing to learn. I hope you are in a position to take one sometime. Thanks, I am having quite a great time with those birds. You will see in my next post.
