More on the Landscape

This is so painful! I am really not liking this painting yet, ... not unusual but I'm always hopeful that I will have that totally painless painting experience some day. LOL!  Anyway this is all I got done in class and the next one is tomorrow so will work on it more then.
This is on 22X30 140lb cold pressed Arches watercolor paper.

I don't know that I have ever seen you do a landscape, looks good to me.

This is the first time I have been to your blog. As I take in painting after painting ~ I find that I am drawn to your soft way with colors and texture. Lovely.

Hi Candy, Thanks. And Aspen is more cute in person than in the pictures if you can believe that! LOL!
Liz, I know I have been doing figures since you've known me but I actually lived in Denver in the 80's and landscape is all I did then other than stone sculpture. It is hard to get back into it though, strangely enough as I'm so atuned to figures and that is what I think about formost now. Miss you and all the paint group in
Texas.
Tammie, Thanks for stopping by and for your favorable comments. Color and texture is a big concern of mine so I'm pleased that you are seeing that. Cheers, Tonya
