It's all good!
Well, I may not be finished but the panic is over! I am back to loving the elements of this painting and there is a lot more depth and interest now. The blue reads like a light on my monitor whereas in person it reads more as a dark.
Tonya: Does it matter whether the work is "finished" or not? I find that I am almost never satisfied with the art that I create. But that just creates the energy to go on to the next piece! Thanks for following my blog.
Hi Atul, welcome! Yes, it matters to me if the work is not finished because there is an unease with each piece until I reach a satisfaction point. It is an uncomfortable anxiety until I get the work to a place where it's appealing to my senses. I guess that doesn't have to be a finished place just a place where I can leave it alone. Especially if I have done something that I particularly don't like to a piece I thought was coming along okay before hand. Everyone has their quirks i guess! Thanks for your comment.

Tonya, I like the feeling of this abstract of yours. I love looking at abstract paintings and seeing interesting hidden shapes in them. I see one in this painting - a dark area, upper right side ... it's looking at me ... can you see it?

There seems to be more texture in this rendition and I find that very interesting!
